Episode 61: Matilda

In This Episode:

Story of a wonderful little girl, who happens to be a genius, and her wonderful teacher vs. the worst parents ever and the worst school principal imaginable.

-Ashley compares Matilda to Harry Potter’s homelife.

– We mention Reno 911 a lot. (But it kind of ties in with Danny DeVito being a producer for the show.)

– We talk about Pee-Wee Herman and how Ashley watched Big Top Pee Wee alot as a kid. (even though she cant get the name right.) 

-Ryan wasn’t allowed to watch Pee-Wee Herman.

-We talk about offensive comedy. 

-Does anyone watch Quibi? 

-Bob the Goon. 

-Ryan’s mind is blown when he realizes who Thrunchbull is. 

-We head to Tangent City and talk about high school athletics. 

-We discuss eating dinner in the living room. 

-We question whether Matilda’s parents neglecting her was actually the best possible scenerio for her. 

-We question if Matilda was just waiting for a random stranger to be willing to adopt her because she had adoption papers already ready to go. 

-We go back to Tangent City and discuss bad teachers. 

-We discuss the Bruce and the chocolate cake. 

-Ryan thinks that Trunchbull would have made a great Batman villian.

-Is this movie a possible supervillian origin story? 

-Dipface.
